Hardware: Inspecting with the tablet

The SafeEx software application utilizes hardware in the form of both handheld devices and RFID chips. All approved for Zone 1 and 2, of course. Your routines are initiated by scanning the RFID chip with the handheld device. The system recognizes the RFID chip’s unique ID and instantly displays the appropriate checklist(s) for that particular piece of equipment – and off you go!

Hardware: Handheld devices

In combination with the handheld devices, the software features your own General Arrangement Drawings in an interactive setting with location of equipment. You can zoom, pan and search for equipment directly on the drawing. You can also select a piece of equipment and display more information about is – such as access requirements, inspection history, certificates… Pretty much everything you need to know.

  • Capture photos of equipment and any found non-conformities
  • Display drawings, photos, certificates, manuals etc. for a specific piece of equipment
  • Re-position equipment directly on the General Arrangement Drawing
  • Etc.
